Brunch in Rome: 5 New Spots to Try This Fall 2025

Updated: Oct 1

Brunch is no longer just a passing trend in Rome — it has become a real weekend ritual. Whether you prefer sweet breakfasts, hearty savory dishes in American style, or more creative twists, the city is full of places ready to reinvent this mid-morning meal. With October arriving, Rome embraces seasonal menus and autumn flavors. That’s why we’ve rounded up five new brunches to try in fall 2025, from freshly opened venues to exciting newcomers worth discovering.

🍴 Yezi – Art’Otel

In the Sallustiano neighborhood, the pan-Asian restaurant Yezi, located inside Art’Otel in Piazza Sallustiano, has recently launched its Yum Cha Brunch (starting September 28). Inspired by Southern Chinese tradition, it’s a social dining ritual featuring steaming tea and dim sum to share. Every Sunday, guests can enjoy a flow of small bites plus a main of choice (€45, drinks not included) such as black pepper beef, crispy honey chicken, or vegetarian noodles. The finale includes fluffy Japanese pancakes, a curated cocktail list, and live DJ sets.

🍺 Taps

After opening its taproom in Quadraro, the craft beer brand Lynn Peak is adding a Sunday brunch to the mix this autumn. The menu blends pancakes, a full English breakfast, and beer (€20), perfectly in line with the youthful and relaxed vibe of the place. Alongside house-brewed beers (and more), expect tapas, octopus pita, desserts from the Piacentini lab, and even quirky beer jellies — yes, also served at breakfast.

🥐 Bottega Minotti

At Bottega Minotti in Parioli, brunch follows the venue’s philosophy: no fixed menu, but a selection of seasonal plates that highlight small local producers and high-quality ingredients from Lazio. On the savory side: boiled eggs with cherry tomatoes and seeded bread (€9), toast with galattica cheese, culatello, honey, and sun-dried tomatoes (€10), or savory croissants with stracciatella, pancetta, and grilled artichokes (€10). Sweet options include buffalo ricotta or yogurt with fruit and honey (€8) and toasted brioche with whipped butter, sour cherry compote, and almond brittle (€9). A simple yet thoughtful brunch, deeply tied to the region.

☕ Luna

Just steps away from Piazza Barberini, Luna (opened in April 2025) offers an essential yet refined brunch, aligned with the philosophy behind Faro. Expect ham and cheese toast, eggs benedict, plant-based dishes, and an array of freshly baked goods on display every day. Ingredients are carefully sourced, with a focus on seasonality and the plant-forward world. Specialty coffee and independent wines complete the experience, all within a sleek, design-driven space that balances futuristic interiors with warm hospitality.

🍳 Room Service – Bauhaus

After the summer break, Room Service, the popular Sunday brunch at Bauhaus in Garbatella, returns in mid-October. Created by chef Valentina Fois, founder of Lele’s in London, the concept blends British and Italian influences, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan dishes alongside indulgent comfort food. From the full English to shakshuka with eggs and feta, from pancakes with berry compote and cream to french toast with peanut butter, this brunch is designed to make weekends feel slower, cozier, and a little more special.
